CYT coded gearbox.

    CYT coded gearbox.

    Does anyone have to hand the ratios of above coded 01E gearbox?
    Has it definitely got the strengthened 1st gear?
    Have done a quick search but I need this info fairly sharpish.

      Is it fitted to any other car? An S6 for instance?

        THanks Ben,
        Was really disappointed as was listed as an S6 box. Just bought it on E-bay, so even better that it's the diesel box as that has the final drive ratio I really wanted.
        Great B'day pressie to myself and had a bit of luck for a change.
        Now all I need are the parts fro the conversion. Can anyone help?

          Before I get too carried away, it is a quattro box I hope?

                  I'm fairly pleased with that. Not often have any luck, esspecially as far as car is concerned. Didn't play the lottery but think had a small win
                  Now just need to find some links and find out all the other necessary parts and start collecting.
